Our cast iron brackets are produced from high-quality ductile iron, specifically ASTM A536 60-40-18 and 65-45-12.Weight range between 1 kg and 100 kg,we will choose the production process according our design drawing,the most common casting processes are sand casting and shell casting.

Most brackets for trucks and vehicles are made from ductile iron because it offers the tensile strength and elongation needed for safety and durability.Of course,for the majority of civilian products,the gray iron brackets are also good choices within lower cost.

The optimal casting process for cast iron brackets is the automatic molding line, which ensures high quality and supports large-scale production. The next best option is the shell molding process. Although its cost per unit is higher than that of automatic molding, shell molding delivers superior surface finish and allows for more complex geometries. Most importantly, it is ideal for small-volume production of cast iron brackets. In contrast, green sand floor molding is more cost-effective but generally unsuitable for this application due to potential quality concerns.

As for the ductile iron brackets,we should pay more attention to the mechanical properties and internal quality of the casting materials,rather than the casting price and painting.

Why need to choose one good big factory to produce the ductile iron bracket？It is because large factories have more comprehensive quality inspection processes, including material composition, mechanical properties, and dimensional inspection.

Another important issue is that many cast iron components contain internal shrinkage porosity, which cannot be identified from the external surface alone.Our factory will use the effective approach to inspection through  X-ray flaw detector before ship,it will help us avoid the occurrence of shrinkage porosity problems.
